PHILADELPHIA –Please join Councilman Brian O’Neill (10th District) on Thursday, October 5th, at 4:00PM for the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Burholme Park Playground.  This project consisted of the redesign and renovation of the playground in Burholme Park. The new playground layout was designed with the intent of improving functionality and accessibility. An ADA accessible walkway was created to span between the new 2-5 and 5-12 year-old play areas.

Renovations to each play area include new play structures, safety matting, and retrofitted additions to existing structures. Site features include picnic tables and benches positioned around the play areas with new paving throughout. Additional work includes renovations of the adjacent parking lot and new site lighting with sonic devices for security.
