The Philadelphia City Council Fellowship Program is a paid program seeking bright, highly motivated individuals and provides them with both a broad overview of municipal government and specific experience in subject matter and skillsets critical to their fields of study.
Philadelphia City Council is now accepting applications for fellowships in the following areas:
Digital Photography and Video
The Digital Photography and Video Fellow will help to create, edit, and distribute high -quality photography and video projects for Philadelphia City Council. These projects will be used on web and social media and as part of reports, studies and other publications to help raise awareness of City Council initiatives and to help develop the City Council public identity.

GIS and Urban Planning
The GIS and Urban Planning Fellow will work alongside technical staff on a wide range of planning, mapping, and policy projects for Philadelphia City Council.

Graphic Design
The Graphic Design Fellow will develop and design high quality visual design projects for Philadelphia City Council, such as studies, reports, event announcements, identity programs, and other communication documents for Council President and all 17 Council members.

Policy
Policy fellows participate in budgetary, legislative, and programmatic areas of city government and can expect to work directly with legislative teams representing the 17 members of City Council in researching and designing public policy.
