Calling on the leadership of the City of Philadelphia, as well as state and federal partners to develop an anti-crime and anti-gun violence summit that will create a forward-focused solution-oriented game plan for the 100th Mayor?s consideration.

Proposing an amendment to The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter to provide for the creation of an independent Prison Oversight Board and Office of Prison Oversight and providing for the submission of the amendment to the electors of Philadelphia.

Honoring and congratulating the Champions of the Week, Father Judge High School baseball team, for their victory at the 2023 PIAA title baseball game, marking the first time a Philadelphia team has won a state baseball championship.

Also naming the 1900 Block of N. 59th Street as ?Joyce Abbott Way? to honor retired School District of Philadelphia educator Joyce Abbott for her many contributions to Philadelphia?s students and in recognition of her inspiration of the name for the hit tv show, Abbott Elementary.
