Recognizing and honoring Philadelphia?s Reverend Melvin Floyd, by renaming the 5200 block of Wayne Avenue, ?Reverend Melvin Floyd Way? to honor the life and legacy of Reverend Floyd, Founder and Pastor Agape Christian Chapel and the Neighborhood Crusades, Inc., where he tirelessly worked to prevent gang violence citywide and since 1970, successfully reaching youth and families for over 40 years.

Designating the week of Sunday, October 8 through Saturday, October 14, 2023 as ?Italian American Heritage Week? in the City of Philadelphia and honoring Gaetano (Guy) Pigliacelli and Gerald ?Jerry? Blavat (posthumously) as the Grand Marshalls of the 2023 Philadelphia Italian American Parade.

Authorizing a ?Joint Task Force on City Flag Reform? to reexamine and recommend a process to reform the flag of the City of Philadelphia in line with vexillological conventions and an aim to promote Civic Pride.

Condemning the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel and calling for a peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Also naming the 4200 Block of Houghton Street as ?William ?Speedy? Morris Way? to honor the legendary and impactful coaching of William ?Speedy? Morris a lifelong resident of the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia.
