Amending Section 14-406 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled ?SP-STA, Sports Stadium (Special Purpose) District ,? by expanding allowable signage in an area bounded by North Access Road, 11th Street, Terminal Avenue, and Broad Street, all under certain terms and conditions.

Authorizing the Committee on Public Safety to hold hearings regarding the escape of two inmates from the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center on the evening of May 7, 2023, and the persistent, systemic issues within the Philadelphia Department of Prisons that made such an escape possible.

Declaring the Summer of 2023 the Summer of Hip Hop in Philadelphia, in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop and in recognition of the genre?s contribution to musical culture.

Urging the Administration to pursue comprehensive qualitative and quantitative efforts to improve access to good-paying jobs in the City of Philadelphia.

Honoring Mural Arts Philadelphia for the organization?s Porch Light program and Asian American and Pacific Islander mural series in collaboration with the Mayor?s Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs, the Managing Director?s office, Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation and Asian Arts Initiative.

Recognizing the week of June 5 through 9, 2023, as “Union Organizing Week” in Philadelphia, in honor of those who have fought and continue to fight on behalf of workers? rights to organize and bargain collectively.
