Amending Chapter 9-5900 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled ?Prohibition on Certain Gambling Machines and Skills Games,? to add additional prohibitions and provide for remedies, all under certain terms and conditions.

Condemning the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel and calling for a peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Calling on the Administration to develop grant programs for businesses and restaurants suffering from retail theft and crime.

Authorizing the Committee on Education to hold hearings concerning the practice of ?leveling? and its impact on students and teachers in the School District of Philadelphia, especially following the learning loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Designating Thursday, October 12, 2023 as ?Children?s Environmental Health Day? in the City of Philadelphia, and recognizing the importance of clean air and water, safe food and consumer products, healthy environments and a stable climate to children?s health and development.

Recognizing and honoring Brilliant Stars Learning Center, located in the 9th Council District, for being a Comcast RISE awardee.

Recognizing and honoring Beneficial Multiservices LLC, located in the 9th Council District, for being a Comcast RISE awardee.

To approve amendments to the University of Pennsylvania Master Plan in the area bounded by Walnut Street, 33rd Street, Spruce Street, and 34th Street, related to the Stuart Weitzman Hall at 220 S. 33rd Street.

Also naming the 4200 Block of Houghton Street as ?William ?Speedy? Morris Way? to honor the legendary and impactful coaching of William ?Speedy? Morris a lifelong resident of the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Authorizing the Joint Committees on Education and Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs to hold public hearings to examine the cost and liabilities for the School District and the Department of Parks and Recreation to ease the barriers of access to youth sports.
