Calling on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to keep John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School and Bishop McDevitt High School open and to engage with students, alumni, board, and other stakeholders in decision making around the schools? futures.

Approving the redevelopment contract of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the West Parkside Urban Renewal Area, identified by house number and street address as 1728 North Fifty-first street; and authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Salima Cunningham and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract.

Authorizing the Philadelphia City Council Committee on Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs to hold public hearings examining the feasibility of establishing a new Boys and Girls Club at Rose Playground.

Authorizing the Committees on Public Safety and Public Health and Human Services to hold joint hearings to examine the City?s preparedness to respond to hospital bed needs of the public during public health emergencies, and to explore ?Plan B? locations for temporary hospital sites.

Also naming the 1300 block of South Capitol Street ?Mamie Nichols Way? to recognize, honor, and celebrate the legacy of Mamie Nichols and her dedication to the people of Point Breeze.

Also naming the 3200 block of Reed Street ?Irene Russell Way? to recognize, honor, and celebrate the life and legacy of Irene Russell and her dedication to the Grays Ferry neighborhood.

Also naming the 1800 block of Wharton street ?Walter P. Lomax, Jr., M.D., Way? to recognize, honor, and celebrate Dr. Walter P. Lomax, Jr. for his leadership, dedication, philanthropy, and support of Black Philadelphians.

Also naming 24th Street, between Wharton and Reed Streets, ?Dorothy Allen Way,? to honor the life and legacy of Dorothy D. Allen.

Authorizing the Committees on Public Safety and Public Health and Human Services to conduct joint hearings to examine available options for protecting Philadelphians in the Philadelphia jail system and the Pennsylvania prison system from COVID-19.
