City Councilman Brian O’Neill (10th District) announces that the Philadelphia Police Department is now hiring school crossing guards. In response to the crossing guard shortage in Northeast Philadelphia and throughout the entire City, Councilman O’Neill is working with the Police Department to encourage local residents to apply.

The application for School Crossing Guards will be available on the City’s website from 2/25/2019 through 3/22/2019. There will not be a written test, but preference will be given to City of Philadelphia residents, veterans, legacy and bilingual applicants.
