COUNCILMAN O’NEILL ANNOUNCES DEADLINE EXTENSIONS FOR HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION & SENIOR CITIZEN TAX FREEZE APPLICATIONS

Councilman Brian O’Neill announces that the Philadelphia Revenue Department has extended the deadline for Homestead Exemption and Senior Citizen Real Estate Tax Freeze applications.

The original deadline for both was September 13, 2019. The new deadline for the Homestead Exemption is December 1, 2019. The new deadline for the Senior Citizen Tax Freeze is January 31, 2020.

Anyone already enrolled in either program does not need to reapply.
