Clarke updates parents and teachers on City Council’s efforts to ensure the School District of Philadelphia is able to educate students and keep them safe when schools open on Sept. 9. As the City of Philadelphia seeks to get emergency funding in place, the School District is still waiting for state lawmakers and the Governor to act on legislation that will ensure schools will open this year.
