We're here to assist our Active Duty Servicemembers with getting the help and information they need.
Below are some common services that are accessed by Active Duty Servicemembers.

Services available from the City/County

VETERANS’ PREFERENCE IN STATE CIVIL SERVICE

Learn about how Veterans receive additional benefits in recognition of their military service when they pass civil service examinations required for appointment to employment positions covered by the State’s Merit System.

Philadelphia Real Estate Tax Credit for Active Duty Military

The Tax Credit for Reserve and National Guard Members Called to Active Duty is also referred to as the Active Duty Tax Credit. This credit excuses reserve military service members from paying Philadelphia property taxes while they are called to active duty outside of Pennsylvania.
