Crisis Management Services and Resources

We’re here to help veterans and their families access the benefits and information they need.
Below are some services that are commonly accessed by veterans.

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment for Veterans

    Learn about treatment options from the National Center for PTSD.

  • Veterans Crisis Hotline

    Veterans and their loved ones can call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Support for deaf and hard of hearing individuals is available.

  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

    The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones.

  • National Call Center for Homeless Veterans

    Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness—and their family members, friends and supporters—can make the call to or chat online with the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans, where trained counselors are ready to talk confidentially 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • HUD-VASH Program

    Eligible homeless veterans and their families can receive HUD housing vouchers with VA supportive services to help find and sustain permanent housing.
