PHILADELPHIA – May 15, 2017 – Philadelphia City Councilwoman Cindy Bass (8th District) issued the following statement regarding the accident that occurred earlier today involving students from the C.W. Henry School traveling via charter bus through Maryland en route to Washington D.C.:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the children, teachers, and staff of the C.W. Henry School who were involved in this accident. Our prayers also go out to the families of those on the bus. C.W. Henry is part of the close-knit community of Northwest Philadelphia and I can say without reservation that we will all be pulling for these valued members of our extended family in the hours and days to come.”
