PHILADELPHIA — Councilwoman Cherelle L. Parker (9th District) will host “Your Right to Know: Moving Forward with a Criminal Record” on Tuesday, March 28 at St. James United Methodist Church, located at 199 E. Tabor Road, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

This event is an excellent opportunity for constituents to:

  • Learn about expungement eligibility and the new record sealing law
  • Access valuable resources and programs for returning citizens
  • Find out about your legal rights and employment discrimination
  • And get the facts about who can vote

Representatives from Philadelphia Lawyers for Social EquityImpact Services Corporation, PA CareerLink and other organizations will be on hand to discuss these topics and more.

Councilwoman Cherelle L. Parker represents the 9th District, which encompasses parts of Mt. Airy, East Oak Lane, West Oak Lane, Olney, Lawncrest, Burholme, Oxford Circle and Logan.
