PHILADELPHIA – 9/19/2013 City Councilman Brian O’Neill has announced that the deadline to appeal your new property assessment, to be used for calculating your 2014 taxes, is October 7, 2013. If you have requested a first level review and have not yet received a response from the Office of Property Assessment (OPA) or you are not satisfied with the outcome of your first level review, and you are planning to appeal to the Board of Revision of Taxes, your application for appeal is due by October 7, 2013.
If you would like an appeal application or assistance with filing your appeal, please contact one of Councilman O’Neill’s three offices, including his new full time neighborhood office at the FOP “Heroes Hall” headquarters building at 11630 Caroline Road (215-437-9167). This is in addition to his neighborhood office at Bustleton & Bowler above the 7th Police District (215-685-0432) and City Hall office (215-686-3422).
