Philadelphia, Feb. 10, 2014 – City Council President Darrell L. Clarke joined Mayor Michael Nutter in announcing plans to move forward with the redevelopment of LOVE Park. As part of an agreement to sell the City-owned garage under LOVE Park to a private entity, the surface of the park will be redesigned with expanded green space and commercial activity. Partnering with the private sector is a cost-effective way for the City to improve and beautify LOVE Park, officials said.
