CITY COUNCIL HOSTS FIRST IN A SERIES OF COMMUNITY SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE (CSI) PRESENTATIONS

Philadelphia, Dec. 2, 2014 — The City Council of Philadelphia and TRF presented the Philadelphia Community Sustainability Initiative (CSI) and Quality of Life data tool, which will be used to measure quality of life indicators in an unprecedented, comprehensive and strategic effort to hold City, State and Federal government accountable and make “Every Neighborhood a Community of Choice.”

Participating organizations included the Building Industry Association of Phila. (BIA), Center City District, Econsult, Greater Phila. Chamber of Commerce (GPCC), Greater Phila. Association of REALTORS (GPAR), Parents United for Public Education, Phila. Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC), Phila. Town Watch, and the University City District. State Rep. and Philadelphia Delegation Leader Cherelle Parker also attended and participated in the community discussion.
